The FX20 is the largest and most precise machine Markforged has ever produced. It features an 80L heated build chamber and massive precision ground vacuum bed with reusable print sheets. The motion control system offers closed loop control through precision linear encoders, and is tuned to move the 3kg print head rapidly and accurately. FX20’s turbo mode builds parts faster than any Markforged machine, while new XL spools offer four times the material without spool changeover. The FX20 is remarkably easy to use. It features a 7 inch touchscreen from which users can control every aspect of the printer. Automated calibration and levelling reduces operator input, while a wide variety of sensors give live feedback on machine performance. A material bay contains two active XL spools and can store two more with precise moisture control.
Onyx is a micro carbon fibre-filled nylon that yields accurate, high strength parts with an impeccable surface finish.
Onyx ESD is the most advanced polymer precision-engineered to possess an extremely tight range of surface resistance.
Onyx FR is a certified UL 94 V-0 rated flame-resistant filament designed for use in applications where parts must be non-flammable.
Nylon is an unfilled non-abrasive thermoplastic that is great for ergonomic surfaces and workholding for pieces that are easily marred.
Carbon Fiber is ultra-high-strength Continuous Fiber - when laid into a Composite Base material, it can yield parts as strong as Aluminum.
Fibreglass is Markforged's entry-level Continuous Fiber material capable of yielding parts 10x stronger than ABS.
Kevlar is known for its energy absorption & extreme toughness. It yields extremely impact-resistant parts that are immune to catastrophic failure.
High Strength High Temperature (HSHT) Fiberglass is thermally resistant Continuous Fiber for strong parts in high-temperature environments.
